Resident Advisor for Senegal
Global Fund Prospective Country Evaluation

Background

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria has commissioned external groups to conduct in-depth prospective evaluations that utilize a variety of methods to provide a detailed picture of the implementation, effectiveness, and impact of Global Fund-supported programs in several countries. The Institute for International Programs at Johns Hopkins University (IIP-JHU) has been selected as the lead to carry out the Prospective Country Evaluations (PCE) in Mozambique.

IIP-JHU and Institute of Health and Development (ISED in Dakar, Senegal) have developed a collaboration with the government of Senegal that involves health systems research, evaluation, and action. The main objective of the project is to conduct prospective evaluations that utilize a variety of methods to provide detailed picture of the implementation, effectiveness, and impact of Global Fund-supported programs in Senegal. The Resident advisor will play a lead role in implementing the project in Senegal.
